If you want large shade trees in a hurry, this is one of the fastest growing trees available... anywhere. You don't have to wait 20 years on a Live Oak to grow into a nice shade tree. It is not uncommon for Paulownia trees to grow 10' in height per year. We have trees on our property that have grown faster. They typically flower profusely in the spring after reaching 2-3 years of age.
Outstanding variety of Poplar tree. They grow very fast, reaching heights of 100' with a diameter of 40'and can grow 10' in height per year. In just a few years, they will create an excellent privacy screen, wind block, or specimen tree .

PHILOSOPHY
As a hobby grower we are passionate about growing trees and natural remedies for cleaning the air. On our farm we seed and germinate our own trees. All of our trees are grown in containers. Its more work, but we believe this approach produces better root systems than trees that are dug after being grown in a field.
Fast growing shade trees provide a natural, healthy way for us to cool our yards, houses and animals all while adding beauty to our surroundings and the homes we live in. What started as just curiosity has turned into a true passion for our whole family.
OUR TREES
Paulownia trees - If you want large shade trees in a hurry, this is one of the fastest growing hardwood trees available... anywhere. You don't have to wait 20 years on a Live Oak to grow into a nice shade tree. It is not uncommon for Paulownia trees to grow 10' in height in a single growing season. We have trees on our property that have grown faster. They typically flower profusely in the spring after reaching 2-3 years of age. They are hardy, long lived, and grow in a wide variety of soils and in most states in the country. Once established, they are drought tolerant, do well where there is a significant seasonal variation in temperature, and in nutrient poor soils.
There are approximately 17 different varieties of Paulownia, each with its own unique characteristics. We primarily grow and sell the Paulownia Elongata. Paulownia is commonly referred to as Chinese Empress, Empress tree, Princess tree or Foxglove tree. This is a misnomer as these names only refer to one variety, the Paulownia Tomentosa. In many areas, Paulownia Elongata is grown for its lumber where it is used in the construction of furniture, musical instruments, boats, surf boards, molding, shipping containers, veneers and plywood.
Hybrid Poplar - Outstanding variety of Hybrid Poplar tree (OP-367). Hybrid Poplars should not to be confused with the Lombardy Poplar, which is short lived and prone to disease and insects. OP-367 doesn't produce cotton like many sold online. It grows very fast, reaching heights of 100' with a diameter of 40' and capable of growing 8' in height in a single growing season. In just a few years, this tree can create an excellent privacy screen, wind block, or specimen tree.
Poplar wood can be classified as a hardwood or a softwood. Depending on the source, it is considered a hard softwood or a soft hardwood . In general, Poplar has a variety of uses in construction and in the production of many different types of products. It is often used in the production of cabinets, furniture, molding, trim, sidings, decks, and window blinds. In recent years research has been conducted into its use as a bio fuel.
